House Republicans Stand for Election Integrity

CONCORD, NH- House Election Law Chairman Ross Berry (R-Weare) released the following statement after the House passed SB223-FN, confirming that only government issued IDs can be used while voting.

“SB223 confirms that only government IDs can be used in order to vote in New Hampshire. Voters can be assured that when they cast a ballot, they are being joined by their friends and neighbors from their city or town, not by bad actors intent on undermining our process.,” Chairman Berry said.

He continued, “Here in New Hampshire, election integrity is a top priority. You need a government issued ID in order to drive a motor vehicle, board an airplane, and join the military. The same simple measure should also extend to voting. SB223 ensures that only government issued IDs may be used when voting, confirming that our elections in the Granite State are free, safe, and secure.”
