Concord, NH – After Governor Kelly Ayotte signed HB 701, the John Lewicke and Michael Yakubovich Right to Try Act, into law earlier today Representatives Lisa Mazur (R-Goffstown) and Steve Kesselring (R-Manchester) released the following statement.
“By signing HB 701, New Hampshire has affirmed that every patient facing a terminal diagnosis deserves the chance to pursue hope and healing,” said Representative Mazur.“This law ensures that barriers to access are lowered and that families know nothing is being left on the table by expanding access to promising investigational treatments for terminally ill patients. The John Lewicke and Michael Yakubovich Right to Try Act positions New Hampshire as a leader in health care innovation.”
