CONCORD – Today House Republican Leader Gene Chandler (R-Bartlett) offered the following comment in reaction to the Senate passage of HB 598, a bill that bill increases the amount of the record-keeping safe harbor deduction under the business profits tax.
House Republican Leader Gene Chandler (R-Bartlett)
“We are pleased that the Senate has passed HB598. This bill will allow our small business owners more freedom in how they operate, reduce their tax burden and facilitate their financial success. This commonsense, business friendly legislation is just the type of measure this state needs to take to signal that New Hampshire is open for business. We look forward to the Governor signing this bill into law and hope for more bipartisan support of pro-business, pro-jobs and pro-economic growth legislation.”
