House Republicans Strengthen School Choice

CONCORD, NH – Today, House Republicans passed HB68, which ensures that parents are able to find the best school that fits their child’s needs. State Representative and Prime Sponsor of HB68, Erica Layon (R-Derry) released the following statement after HB68 passed the House.

“Today House Republicans passed HB68 to ensure that parents have a choice in which public school their children attend within their district,” Representative Layon said. “This common sense bill helps students meet their needs within the local public school district without the need to exit to a public charter school, private school, education freedom accounts or home school.
