CONCORD, NH – House Election Law Chairman Ross Berry (R-Weare) and Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) released the following statement after the DNC voted to strip New Hampshire Democrats of their First in the Nation status for the second time this decade.
“For the second time this decade, the Democratic National Committee has turned their back on Granite Staters,” said Chairman Berry. “The DNCs decision to give up on the First in the Nation primary is disappointing, but not surprising considering that socialists and progressives are engaged in a mass exodus out of the Live Free or Die state.”
Majority Leader Osborne concluded, “Democrats may have abandoned New Hampshire, but make no mistake. New Hampshire Republicans will vote first.”
