CONCORD, NH – House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) released the following statement after House Republicans on the Transportation Committee prevented Democrats from reinstating vehicle inspections on Granite Staters.
“Make no mistake, HB 1560 was a Democrat attempt to pull the rug out from Granite Staters and reinstate vehicle inspections. 163 Democrats voted against freeing Granite Staters from the hidden tax of vehicle inspections, but House Republicans put the pedal to the metal on repealing vehicle inspections, and we’re not pumping the breaks now.”
“House Republicans have full confidence that the Attorney General will win our appeal against judicial overreach. With an unaccountable federal judge trying to trample on the freedom of the people to decide our own policies, New Hampshire has a champion in John Formella to stand up for Granite Staters and the rule of law.”
