CONCORD, NH – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Lynn (R-Windham) released the following statement after the House concurred with the Senate amendment to HB 266.
“Adam Montgomery is a depraved individual and should not profit one single cent from his despicable actions,” said Lynn. “Last year, Republicans passed legislation to ensure that murderers could not profiteer off of their victims, and we will absolutely not allow him to twist that law to line his own pockets. Harmony Montgomery would be here today if it were not for the fact that Adam is nothing more than a sick and twisted person who still refuses to tell law enforcement where he hid her body.”
Lynn concluded, “Today, Republicans took swift action to tell Murderer Adam Montgomery, the only thing you will be enjoying is the inside of a cell.”
