House Republicans Protect Children From Irreversible Harm

CONCORD, NH – House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Vice-Chair Lisa Mazur (R-Goffstown) released the following statement after the House voted to table SB 520, relative to breast surgeries for minors.

“Republicans have always made our position clear: children should not be subjected to permanent, irreversible genital mutilation surgeries. This bill would have blown a hole in our commonsense law that was signed by the Governor last year, to protect children from these experimental and dangerous procedures. We will not bow down to the extreme policies pushed by Democrats, and we will not compromise on the need to protect our children from radical gender ideology.”

“The vast majority of Americans agree that children should not be experimented on in the name of the left’s obsession with cutting off their reproductive organs. These policies may work in California, Minnesota, and New York, but here in the Live Free or Die state, we take our children’s safety seriously.”
