House Takes Promising First Step on Expanding Childcare in New Hampshire

CONCORD, NH – Special Committee on Childcare Chairman Ross Berry (R-Manchester) released the following statement after the House passed SB94, relative to residential child care licensing of child care institutions and agencies by a vote of 329-34.”Today was the first small step towards expanding safe, affordable, and accessible childcare in the state of New Hampshire. The Special Committee on Childcare has worked in a bipartisan fashion to achieve real results for the people of New Hampshire.
