CONCORD, NH – House Education Funding Committee Chairman Glenn Cordelli (R-Tuftonboro) and House Finance Division II Chairman Keith Erf (R-Weare) released the following statement after the House passed SB295, establishing universal eligibility for the wildly successful Education Freedom Account Program.
“Every student deserves a quality education which best suits their individual needs. At its very heart, the incredibly successful Education Freedom Account (EFA) program was designed to give Granite State Students more educational pathways and to find the educational setting that best fits their needs, whether it be in a public, private or homeschool setting,” explained Cordelli.
Erf added, “The EFA program has already changed the lives of thousands of students from Charlestown to Rochester and we are thrilled to be rolling it out to even more students for this upcoming school year. We thank our colleagues in the House and Senate for helping us to get this critical mission through both legislative chambers. I look forward to joining Governor Ayotte as we sign this bill into law and celebrate a summer full of school choice.”
