House Democrats Continue to Fight Basic Voting Laws

Concord, NH- House Majority Leader Jason Osborne released the following statement after the House failed to pass CACR 15, which was amended to provide that only residents of the state may vote in elections, on a vote of 190-165.

“This CACR is meant to do one thing: clarify who can vote in our elections. I fail to understand why Democrats want people from all over the world voting in New Hampshire. This is common sense, yet this is an endless argument with no basis. Because our laws are so vague, Kim Jong Un could come here, and does for all we know. He could use same day registration, vote in our election, and head back to North Korea. How is this acceptable? If you are legally qualified to vote in New Hampshire, you can vote. Period.”
