Concord, NH- House Education Committee Vice Chairman Glenn Cordelli (R-Tuftonboro) released the following statement after House Democrats voted to pass HB430, relative to applications for the education freedom account program.
“Today House Democrats voted to restrict school choice. This will eliminate the ability for students moving into the state, or entering school age, to join the program by requiring they be in public school for one year.”
“This is just a further attempt to disrupt the wildly successful Education Freedom Account program by limiting school choice and reducing the ability for children to reach their full potential. Democrats will not stop until they are successful in removing all children from the EFA program and forcing them back into a learning environment that will set them up for failure. Democrats say they are for the children, but their actions prove otherwise.”
