“Today we saw how deep House Republicans’ bench is. While our caucus had dozens of members able to make parliamentary inquiries on the fly, House Democrats relied on one of their senior leadership members to repeat the same tired talking points. It is clear which caucus is diligently studying legislation and speaking up on behalf of their constituents. It is no wonder why Democrats felt the need to desperately limit debate in a brazen attempt to silence our members. Regardless of outcome, one thing is clear: House Republicans have a deep pool of strong, thoughtful legislators and Democrats will blindly follow their leadership.”
