House Passes Bills to Increase Accountability to Granite Staters

Manchester, NH- House Speaker Sherman Packard (R-Londonderry) and House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) released the following joint statement after the House passed a number of bills to increase accountability to Granite Staters.

“In what is already ranked the freest state in the nation, the Republican led legislature passed sweeping reforms to the state of New Hampshire last session, and this year we are hard at work to add on to those accomplishments in the form of transparency and finding ways to make the daily lives of Granite Staters easier,” said Rep. Osborne.

“As elected officials, we are accountable to our constituents who trust us to pass common-sense legislation,’ Rep. Osborne continued. ‘Today, we passed a litany of bills that eliminated burdensome regulations that would have interfered with Granite Stater’s day-to-day lives. House Republicans are leading the way to make New Hampshire an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.’”

Speaker Sherman Packard added: “I am proud of the legislative work being done this session. We all want a better future, and under House Leadership, our commitment to bettering the lives of every NH family is the cornerstone of our efforts for real change.”
