NH House Passes Prohibition on Late Term Abortions

Bedford, NH- House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) released the following statement in response to the House overturning the committee report and passing HB625, relative to the protection of fetal life, on a vote of 191-160.

“No matter what side of the debate you are on, prohibiting late term abortions is something that everyone should be on board with,’ said Osborne. ‘At 24 weeks the unborn are considered viable, and this bill allows them to have the same right to life as any other human. I applaud the House for overturning the committee report of Inexpedient to Legislate and passing a bill that reflects our basic values as a society.’”
