NH House Passes State Budget onto Senate

Concord, NH- House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) released the following statement after the House voted 205-178 to pass HB1 and 200-181 to pass HB2, the State Budget bills.

“Today the House passed a budget that all New Hampshire citizens can be proud of. This was not a year that was business as usual and we have overcome the challenges of putting together a budget in the midst of a pandemic. We had to make difficult decisions, but at the same time, we were able to pass a budget out of the House that delivers tax cuts to every person in the state.”

“Voters sent Republican majorities to Concord because we have a proven track record of managing the state in a fiscally responsible manner. This budget reflects what Republicans campaigned on throughout 2020 and what our constituents told us they wanted. We are proud of the product we are sending to the Senate, and we look forward to continuing the conversation of our state’s direction as these bills make their way through the legislative process.”
