Concord, NH- House Majority Floor Leader Joe Sweeney (R-Salem) released the following statement after House Democrats continued their assault on housing providers.
“House Democrats yet again pursued a direct assault on Granite State Housing Providers, and House Republicans stood strong and stopped them today. The Housing crisis is caused by government barriers that have placed a stranglehold on supply; this crisis will not be solved by more government regulation. We appreciate the bipartisan vote to reject House Democrat extremism today. Republicans teamed up with sensible Democrats to prevent the radical Democrats’ from seizing the means of production, and we’ll continue to do so throughout this term.”
